Dr. Dani Murphy is the heart behind Refuel Life—an advocate, clinician, and leader dedicated to reclaiming hope in the aftermath of trauma and loss. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Registered Nationally Certified Counselor, Dr. Dani specializes in the intersection of trauma, neurodiversity, and complex grief, especially within communities affected by suicide.
With advanced training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused therapies, she brings a powerful blend of evidence-based and deeply human approaches to every relationship. She holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University.
Dr. Dani’s work is driven by a simple conviction: every person’s pain tells a story—and healing begins when that story is witnessed, honored, and met with compassion. Recognizing that trauma rarely stands alone, she supports individuals, children, couples, and families as they navigate PTSD, anxiety, depression, emotional disturbances, ADHD, autism, identity questions, family ruptures, and beyond. She offers affirmative care for LGBTQIA++ clients and has devoted much of her professional life to suicide prevention and supporting survivors of loss.
At Refuel Life Trauma Center, Dr. Dani’s holistic, body-mind centered approach empowers people to make meaning, find connection, and move toward authentic wellness. Whether walking alongside someone through infidelity recovery, life transitions, academic challenges, or the quiet aftermath of grief, her work is always centered in hope—even when hope feels hard to find.

Bethany Harmon, the visionary behind Orchids Wellness & Decadence, has always been committed to holistic health. After experiencing its transformative power firsthand, she felt compelled to share it with others. In 2020, she founded Orchids Wellness, which initially focused on women's feminine health but eventually expanded to a comprehensive holistic practice after her graduation from massage therapy school in February 2022. With her expanded knowledge and diploma, Bethany now offers a range of services, including massage, reflexology, ionic foot detoxing, and an entire line of products to address both internal and external wellness. She plans to further her education and offer colonic hydrotherapy, targeting what can be the root causes of some mental and physical health imbalances. Bethany is originally a Brooklyn, New York native who transplanted to VA in 2008. She is also a mom of 3 and grandma.
