It’s almost here!

At Refuel Life, Inc., we believe in honoring resilience, creativity, and the power of dreaming big. Our scholarship committee will select the recipient based on the following criteria:

• Neurodivergence: The applicant identifies as neurodivergent (a formal diagnosis is not required).
• Trauma Survivor: The applicant is a survivor of trauma (all forms accepted).
• Arts & Entrepreneurship: The applicant demonstrates a clear passion for pursuing the arts, entrepreneurship, or both.

We’re looking for essays that reflect:

• Authenticity: A genuine, honest account of your lived experience and personal growth.
• Resilience: A clear story of how you’ve navigated or grown from trauma and neurodivergence, showing strength and adaptability.
• Creativity & Vision: Evidence of your passion for the arts and/or entrepreneurship, including examples of creative thinking or innovative ideas.
• Impact: How your unique perspective or ambitions could inspire others, challenge stigma, or create positive change in your community or field.
• Communication: A well-organized, clearly written essay that effectively conveys your journey and aspirations.

• Demonstrates drive and clear goals for their future in the arts or entrepreneurship.
• Provides evidence of commitment to growth—through projects, creative work, entrepreneurial ideas, or concrete plans for the future.

• Embodies Refuel Life’s goal of transforming adversity into creativity, leadership, and advocacy.
• Shows a willingness to share their story and encourage openness around suicide prevention, neurodiversity, and trauma.

How Winners Are Chosen:
All applications will be reviewed by our committee using these criteria. We are committed to an inclusive and compassionate selection process that honors each applicant’s voice and vision.
